February 2007 - News Bulletin
Pat Patrick:
NASA ask that anyone wishing to make Autograss-based enquiries of the directors avoid contacting Pat Patrick until further notice, as she has a very heavy workload including added matters to deal with at home. All of the other directors would be pleased to answer your questions; their contact details are in the fixture book for 2007, or on the NASA website.
Rule Book Problems:
NASA acknowledges that there are some problems with the wording of some parts of the construction rule books for 2007. This is now receiving urgent attention with the aim of a simplified and clarified set of rules for 2008. In the meantime, NASA apologise for any difficulties this will have caused, and ask that any requests for clarification be directed first to local scrutineers, then on to Derek Hardy, national chief scrutineer; whose details are also in the fixture book.
Class signing-on:
NASA have decided that for 2007, all “Stock Hatch” and “F600” drivers must sign on different sheets from the main NASA classes into which they fall. For instance, no F600 driver should sign on the class 8 sheet. If this is not done, it will be assumed that the league in question is attempting to enhance its Nationals allocation. From the start of 2007, neither “Stock Hatch” nor “F600” cars will be counted towards Nationals allocations.
