Use of the company trademark continued;
Anyone wishing to use the term “Autograss” or the official logo in connection with a product or merchandise in a commercial sense is required to apply to NASA for permission to do so, and a nominal annual license fee is payable. In the meantime NASA is aware of some organisations and individuals who are misusing the trademark and will be taking steps to prevent this.
Junior racing:
The NASA directors are delighted that the numbers of Junior Specials continue to grow, but there may still be, in some cases, a need to run Junior Specials and Junior Class One cars together in a single race. In such a case, it is now a requirement that the maximum number of cars on the track is ten and Junior Specials should be started in front of Class One cars, to prevent the specials (which are generally faster than the class ones) becoming tangled in cars at the rear of the Class One field.
