NATIONALS NOISE TESTS:
Please will all drivers attending the Nationals at Thornborough note that their race cars will undergo the correct NASA Noise Test as described in the construction rules and members’ handbook (please refer to these in case of doubt). The 2007 level of 102dbA will be adhered to strictly. All exhausts must be constructed correctly (for example any exhaust pointing upwards or too far downwards will fail, similarly any exhaust not coming to the rear bodyline of a car will fail scrutineering). In addition any car appearing noisy on the track will be black flagged. You have been warned. If in doubt please ask your local league scrutineer for a proper noise test. The use of air horns by spectators is prohibited, anyone doing so will be removed from the venue. The playing of loud music and use of fireworks is prohibited at any time. The Dales league wish to keep the venue, which is why these restrictions are in force. Please respect this situation.
