May 2007 - News Bulletin
National Allocations:
These are due out shortly, but don't be surprised if your league does not get the allocations you were expecting - several signing on sheets have not been received in time (7 days) following relevant events. Please would all clubs note that this weekend's racing signing on sheets (20th May) MUST be returned to Elaine Pacey by Wednesday 23rd May 2007 at the latest.
Stock Hatches/Formula 600:
Following a request from the League Chairmen, the Directors have agreed that these cars are to count towards National Allocations for 2007. Leagues and Clubs that do not run these cars should be aware that this may reduce their allocations in classes 6 and 8.
Insurance and Event Permits:
It is essential for all clubs and leagues to have all paperwork and insurance in place and displayed according to the rules. If this is not the case it is prohibited for a race meeting to go ahead. Any breach of this rule will render a club liable to a fine, in addition all future racing is suspended until the fine is paid and the rules are complied with.
Noise testing:
This is NOT optional. Please note that all motorbike engined cars should be noise tested at a minimum of 8000rpm. This has been agreed by the league scrutineers.
Warning Signs:
Could all clubs please ensure that all appropriate warning signs are evident around their tracks and in important places such as entries to pits. NASA is ordering a new batch of signs that will be available in the near future to purchase at an inexpensive rate.
