Board Changes
At the Annual General Meeting on 25th November 2008, there were two changes to the Board of Directors. Neil Clayton resigned from his position as Director due to personal reasons whilst John Shorter was voted onto the Board of Directors in the only other change. Pat Patrick and Terry Williams were both re-elected onto the board. Maureen Boyd was re-elected as NASA Secretary.
In the League Chairmans Annual General Meeting, Keith Matthews was re-elected as Chairman of Chairmans, Ted Shillito as Vice-Chairman, Maureen Boyd as Secretary, Derek Hardy as Chief Scrutineer and Terry Williams as Chief Marshal.
New Insurance Company
NASA have agreed a new 3 year deal with Arthur Doodsons Insurance Brokers. Not only will they provide cover for competitors and officials but they are also able to offer cover for club and league committees and vehicles used to transport race cars to events. Further details will be available in the Fixture book which will be available at the Autosport show in January 2008.
